STA Summer Internship Program – 2026Job SummaryWe are seeking motivated and detail-oriented students to join our team as Project Management Interns for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This opportunity is designed for students interested in gaining practical experience supporting project planning, coordination, and execution within a professional environment.The intern will collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to support project activities, assist in tracking progress, and contribute to project documentation and communication efforts. This internship provides hands-on exposure to project management practices, tools, and methodologies used in real business environments.This internship is expected to last two months during Summer 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Project Management Intern will support the team in areas such as:Assisting project managers with planning and coordination of project activities.Supporting the tracking of project milestones, tasks, and deliverables.Helping prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates.Participating in project meetings and assisting with meeting notes and follow-ups.Assisting with organizing project information, timelines, and task lists.Supporting communication between team members and project stakeholders.Assisting with basic research, data gathering, and analysis to support project decisions.Supporting project teams in identifying and documenting potential project risks or issues.Assisting with administrative and coordination tasks related to project execution.Performing other project-related support tasks as needed.This role provides an opportunity to learn how projects are managed across planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting stages.
Education & QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.Must be a fourth-year student or higher (or equivalent academic standing).Expected graduation within the next 1–2 years preferred.Strong interest in project management, operations, consulting, or business coordination roles.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Knowledge of project management tools or methodologies (Agile, Trello, Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.) is a plus but not required.Internship DetailsProgram: Summer 2026 Internship ProgramDuration: 8 weeks (2 months)Schedule: full-time Location: Union Plaza, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico What You Will GainExposure to real-world project management practicesExperience working with cross-functional teamsHands-on experience with project coordination and reportingMentorship from experienced project managersOpportunity to develop professional and leadership skills
