SDS actively works in collaboration with government bodies and urban local authorities to support flagship national missions, including the Swachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U), through effective IEC, capacity building, and documentation initiatives. Job Overview: Samvedna Development Society is seeking a competent and experienced Project Head to lead and manage projects under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0 . The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, coordinating with Municipal Council (MC Pali), and ensuring effective implementation of solid waste management and urban governance initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and monitoring capabilities to achieve project objectives and compliance standards. Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Project Head who will be responsible for end-to-end project management under SBM 2.0. The incumbent will work closely with Urban Local Body (ULB) officials and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, monitoring, and reporting of project activities. The role involves supervision, coordination, and active participation in initiatives like Swachh Survekshan and certification processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage overall project implementation under SBM 2.0 Coordinate effectively with Municipal Council (MC Pali) and other stakeholders Supervise and guide the project team for smooth execution of tasks Monitor project progress and ensure timely reporting and documentation Liaise with ULB officials for approvals, coordination, and compliance Support activities related to Swachh Survekshan and certification processes Ensure adherence to project timelines, guidelines, and deliverables Identify challenges and implement corrective measures for project efficiency Qualifications and Experience: Graduate/Postgraduate in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering / Urban Planning or relevant field Minimum 3+ years of experience in SBM (Urban), Solid Waste Management (SWM), or Urban Governance Strong understanding of SBM 2.0 guidelines and urban development frameworks Proven experience in project management and stakeholder coordination Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to manage teams and work with government bodies Samvedna Development Society is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
