Principal Project Manager / Squad Leader - Airline Digital Solutions Location: Bangalore Experience: 10-13 Years Notice Period: Immediate Joiners, Serving Notice Period, or Candidates with up to 30 Days NoticeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Principal Project Manager / Squad Leader to lead the delivery of digital transformation initiatives within the airline and travel domain. This is a customer-facing leadership role responsible for managing cross-functional teams, driving stakeholder engagement, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of business-critical solutions.The ideal candidate will have strong airline domain expertise, proven experience managing agile teams, excellent client-facing skills, and a solid understanding of modern web technologies, preferably Angular.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Delivery LeadershipLead a squad comprising developers, business analysts, UX specialists, and other supporting roles.Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and customers.Own the squad's functional scope and ensure alignment with business objectives.Drive requirement gathering, prioritization, planning, and successful delivery.Stakeholder & Client ManagementCollaborate closely with customer stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.Delivery ManagementManage end-to-end delivery from requirement definition through implementation, testing, release, and post-production support.Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and quality metrics.Ensure timely and successful execution of roadmap commitments.Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with architecture, product, engineering, and support teams.Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and dependent teams.Facilitate decision-making and resolve delivery bottlenecks.Solution ConsultingProvide functional guidance and contribute to solution discussions.Support troubleshooting, defect analysis, and implementation decisions.Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with customer expectations.Required Skills & ExperienceMust Have10-13 years of overall experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, or Squad Leadership roles.Strong experience in the Airline, Aviation, or Travel Technology domain.Proven experience managing customer-facing engagements and stakeholder relationships.Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and digital product delivery.Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.PreferredHands-on development background, preferably with Angular.Exposure to modern web application architectures and cloud-based environments.Experience managing teams of 10-20 members.Knowledge of digital customer experience platforms and enterprise-scale applications.Why Join?Opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the airline industry.Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Lead impactful projects that directly influence customer experience and business outcomes.Interested candidates can share their updated resume along with current CTC, expected CTC, notice period, and preferred location.
