York Solutions is hiring a Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the medical device manufacturing space. This role will focus on managing the implementation and scale‑up of a new product line within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong project‑management expertise, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally to drive successful project execution.
Location: Onsite Downtown Chicago, IL in Willis Tower
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for the new product line launch.
- Lead project meetings, set clear expectations, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and regulatory teams to meet project milestones.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues proactively.
- Serve as the central point of contact between R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and supply chain teams.
- Facilitate smooth knowledge transfer from design to manufacturing, ensuring operational readiness.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including design history files, validation reports, and process change controls.
- Support audits and inspections related to the new product line.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track project performance using KPIs and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and project financial forecasts.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and applying lessons learned to future initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of project management experience, preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects from initiation to completion.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
