Description
We are seeking a QA Test Automation Engineer to lead and evolve the automated testing landscape of the AWS Fleethub platform.
This role is critical in a highly automated testing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining existing automated test suites, as well as designing new automated tests for newly developed features.
You will work very closely with AWS Application Developers, Web Developers, and DevSecOps engineers to embed test automation into CI/CD pipelines and daily development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development & Maintenance
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suitesEnhance and refactor existing automated test scripts and proceduresEnsure automated test coverage for new features developed by the AWS Application Development teamCI/CD & DevSecOps Integration
Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelinesEnsure fast, reliable feedback through automated regression testingSupport quality gates and release readiness processesCollaboration & Coaching
Work closely with application developers on test design and quality improvementsGuide and influence developers on testability, test data, and automation best practicesCollaborate with the Senior QA Test Engineer to ensure balanced test coverageQuality Engineering & Innovation
Drive adoption of modern testing practices and toolsExplore new tools, frameworks, and approaches through proofs of conceptContribute to long‑term test automation strategy and standardsRequired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of hands‑on test automation experienceStrong experience with test automation frameworks (TestRail, TestFlight, Robot Framework, PyCharm, Selenium Web Driver) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)Experience automating web applications, APIs, and integration flowsSolid understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and distributed systemsExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsPreferred Qualifications
