We are seeking a seasoned QAD ERP Business Analyst to support, optimize, and expand our ERP environment. This role sits at the intersection of business process expertise and system configuration, with a strong focus on Order to Cash and Finance functional areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary functional expert for QAD ERP across Order to Cash (OTC) and Finance modules
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into system solutions
Lead and support QAD configuration, testing, and deployment activities
Analyze and troubleshoot ERP issues; drive root cause analysis and resolution
Develop functional specifications, process maps, and user documentation
Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
Provide end-user training and post-go-live hypercare support
Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, reports, and integrations
Identify continuous improvement opportunities across ERP-supported processes
Support upgrade, patch, and migration projects as needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of hands-on QAD ERP functional experience in a manufacturing environment
Deep expertise in at least two of the following functional areas: Order to Cash: sales order management, customer invoicing, AR, collections
Finance: GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, financial reporting Proven ability to manage full project lifecycle: requirements → design → test → deploy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE
Familiarity with QAD database schema and underlying data model
Exposure to Progress 4GL programming language (read/interpret code level minimum)
Experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (EE) or QAD Adaptive ERP
Knowledge of manufacturing business processes: production planning, inventory, procurement
Experience supporting EDI, third-party integrations, or BI/reporting tools WHAT WE OFFER
