The Role Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Quality Assurance Manager holds accountability for the design, implementation, and continual improvement of AMO's Integrated Management System. This is a leadership position that carries real authority and genuine impact — you will shape the quality, safety, and environmental culture of the business. You will work across all levels of the organisation to ensure compliance with our ISO obligations, prepare for and manage certification audits, and build the internal capability that sustains excellence over time.
Job Duties 1. Develop, implement and continuously improve the organisation’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards. 2. Plan, direct and coordinate quality assurance, environmental and occupational health and safety systems across commercial cleaning and facility management operations to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements and regulatory obligations.
3. Establish and maintain documented quality management procedures, inspection protocols, audit programs, reporting frameworks, corrective action processes and document control systems to support operational consistency and compliance. 4. Lead the implementation and ongoing application of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology to drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety and environmental management activities. 5. Monitor operational performance through regular site inspections, internal audits, compliance reviews and quality assessments to ensure service delivery standards, safety expectations and environmental objectives are consistently achieved.
6. Manage non-conformances, incidents, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), root cause investigations and risk mitigation strategies to improve operational performance and minimise organisational risk. 7. Coordinate hazard identification, risk assessments, incident reporting and workplace safety initiatives to ensure all operational activities comply with applicable occupational health and safety requirements. 8. Identify and evaluate environmental aspects, impacts and compliance obligations, and implement strategies to support sustainable operational practices and environmental performance targets.
9. Prepare for, coordinate and manage internal and external certification audits, including ISO surveillance and recertification audits, and oversee audit close-out actions and compliance reporting. 10. Maintain accurate quality, safety and environmental records, including audit findings, compliance documentation, training records, contractor assessments and operational performance reports. 11. Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, site supervisors and operational personnel to ensure quality expectations, contractual obligations and compliance standards are effectively communicated and maintained.
12. Analyse quality and compliance data, audit outcomes, incident trends and operational reports to identify improvement opportunities, strengthen governance controls and support strategic decision-making. 13. Develop and deliver staff training, quality awareness programs and compliance initiatives to ensure employees understand organisational procedures, safety responsibilities and quality assurance requirements. 14. Lead, mentor and support quality assurance personnel and operational teams to build organisational capability, improve compliance culture and promote continuous improvement across all business operations.
15. Prepare and present reports to senior management on IMS performance, compliance status, audit outcomes, risk management activities and ongoing improvement initiatives. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required • A bachelor's degree, with at least three years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements, with proven ability to implement and monitor quality processes
