Job Description
Quality Control Technician Job Purpose Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests products during the manufacturing process. Inspects materials, parts, and products at different phases of the production cycle. Records observations and makes recommendations for process or production improvements. Examines products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications. Key Relationships QC Manager

Departmental Employees Duties & Responsibilities Reads and interprets job specifications and requirements to ensure alignment with company expectations. Recommends adjustment to assembly or production processes.
Inspects, tests, and/or measures materials or product being produced. Responsible for accepting or rejecting finished materials. Removes all products and materials that fail to meet determined specifications.
Give feedback to management to share ideas for process improvement. Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business. Qualifications & Other Competencies High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow directions. Exercises independent initiative/judgement in work methods. Ability to lead by example, gain respect from a team and communicate with clarity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to oversee a wide variety of activities at the same time. Requires 1+ years of brand specific experience.
Bi-Lingual a plus Computer Literate (Preferred). Working Conditions This job operates in a manufacturing environment, and the employee is regularly exposed to loud noises and machinery. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, hardhats, etc.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift greater than 50 pounds. Ability to endure heat in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration, repetitive motion, bending, lifting, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing and/or pulling. While performing this position, the employee frequently works near powered forklifts, power tools, and automated assembly machinery. #J-18808-Ljbffr
