Quality Specialist

Prodalim is a family-owned, global juice and specialty ingredients solutions group. We source, develop, manufacture, and market an extensive variety of high-quality juice-based solutions, taste ingredients such as essential oils, fruit aromas (FTNF), and flavours, as well as functional ingredients including natural colours and citrus fibres. The Global Quality Specialist ensures that the company’s quality system, policies and procedures are followed and executed, acting as the focus point for group level quality issues throughout the supply chain (from purchasing to sales).

This is a temporary position (maternity cover).

Responsibilities

• Promoting quality awareness throughout the company
• Communicating regulation updates with interested parties
• Communicating and handling QA issues with suppliers and customers
• Following up on complaints, non-conformities and corrective actions
• Supporting customer quality requests
• Evaluating suppliers performance, suppliers approval status and risk assessment
• Overview and implementation on IT platforms related

Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Food / Chemistry / Biology or related business discipline.
• Experience in a relevant position in Quality Assurance.
• Experience in Food and Beverage industry- advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP system- advantage.
• High Verbal and written skills in English.
• Excellent personal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Food Law and Food safety and quality standards.
