R2R Associate / Senior Associate in Asset/Lease Accounting
Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
Take ownership of Asset Accounting activities within your assigned country cluster, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Execute, verify, and monitor accounting transactions in line with established processes, policies, and internal controls.
Ensure accurate capitalization and reporting of fixed assets in local and global financial statements.
Collaborate closely with project managers, fleet managers, finance stakeholders, and business partners to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Prepare reports, monitor KPIs, and support compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, digitalization, simplification, and process optimization initiatives.
Act as the main contact person for Asset Accounting operations for assigned legal entities.
Serve as a Key User for relevant systems and tools (e.g., PO Controls, Inventory, Trintech).
Support projects, system implementations, and process changes to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct training sessions, share knowledge, and provide support to colleagues and team members.
Participate in global Asset Accounting communities, best-practice exchanges, and cross-functional collaboration networks.
Foster a strong Asset Accounting community by promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. Who You Are:
University degree with majors in Taxes, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education
+2 years of professional experience in Taxes, Accounting, Finance or Controlling.
Fundamental knowledge of Finance systems and procedures both at a corporate level and a country/international level
Good knowledge of global Bayer accounting and controlling standards and reporting requirements, accounting processes, internal controls and controlling concepts as well as local and global accounting policies (IFRS, local GAAP)
Ability to work successfully with people from different cultures and backgrounds
Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict management skills
Language: Strong level of English; German or any other language beneficial
Experience in executing Operational Excellence initiatives and change management would be beneficial
Expertise with enterprise-wide business systems thorough knowledge of ERP (SAP FI, CO, S4HANA) and BI systems and proficiency of Microsoft Office applications. At Bayer, we are committed to transparency, equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and objective reward practices.
The minimum gross monthly salary for R2R Associate position is 7.200,00 PLN. The final salary will be determined based on objective factors such as professional experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility.
This position is be eligible for variable pay components, such as annual or performance-based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
