Recruitment Consultant | Dublin
Evergreen Talent Group
Job Description
Recruitment Consultant | DublinConstruction, Engineering & Data Centre Recruitment
- Evergreen Talent Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy supporting leading contractors, engineering organisations and project-delivery businesses across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
- We recruit across Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Industrial, Semiconductor, Energy and High Voltage Infrastructure.
- As the business continues to grow, we are seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our Dublin team and build a specialist permanent recruitment desk.
What Evergreen Talent Group Offers
- Competitive base salary with an attractive uncapped commission structure.
- Clear performance targets and commission accelerators for strong billings.
- Hybrid working arrangements where appropriate.
- Access to LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS technology and established candidate networks.
- Direct mentoring, autonomy and support to build your specialist desk.
- Long-term progression into Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant, Recruitment Manager or Associate Director positions.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a market, develop long-term client relationships and become a recognised specialist within Construction, Engineering and Data Centre recruitment.
You will work directly with hiring managers, Project Directors, Operations Directors and senior business leaders to understand their project pipelines, recruitment challenges and workforce requirements.
You will then identify, approach and engage suitable candidates, many of whom will not be actively looking for a new role.
The position combines client development, candidate sourcing, market mapping, vacancy management, interview coordination and offer negotiation.
Your Role at Evergreen Talent Group
Your day may begin with a client briefing for an Electrical Construction Manager on a Data Centre project in Dublin.
Later, you could be screening a Senior Planner based in Finland, presenting a Mechanical Project Manager to a client in Denmark or negotiating an offer for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer.
You will manage each recruitment assignment from the initial client conversation through to candidate start date and post-placement follow-up.
Key responsibilities will include
- Developing relationships with contractors, engineering firms and project-delivery organisations.
- Taking detailed job briefings and advising clients on salaries, candidate availability and market conditions.
- Sourcing and headhunting candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, referrals and market mapping.
- Screening candidates and preparing accurate professional profiles for client submission.
- Coordinating interviews, feedback, offers, salary negotiations and start dates.
- Maintaining accurate ATS records and ensuring compliance with GDPR and recruitment processes.
Building Your Market
You will take ownership of a specialist area within Construction, Engineering, M&E or Data Centre recruitment.
This will involve building relationships with both clients and candidates, monitoring project awards and hiring activity, and developing a strong professional network.
You will also be encouraged to build your personal brand through LinkedIn content, job advertising, market updates and industry engagement.
The aim is to become a trusted recruitment partner rather than a transactional CV supplier.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is commercially focused, resilient and genuinely interested in building a long-term recruitment career.
You may already be working as a Recruitment Consultant, Senior Recruitment Consultant, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruitment Resourcer or Business Development professional.
The successful candidate should have
- Previous recruitment, talent acquisition, sales or business-development experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior clients and candidates.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, databases or direct headhunting.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage several recruitment processes at once.
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail and a professional approach.
Experience within Construction Recruitment, Engineering Recruitment, Data Centre Recruitment, M&E Recruitment or Technical Recruitment would be highly advantageous.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
The role will be based in Dublin, supporting clients and candidates across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
