Summary of the RoleAs part of the Terumo SCM team, the Regional Supply Analyst’s main responsibility is to support the development and execution of TAP’s strategic and supply plans, processes to effectively secure product availability. He/ She will support TAP’s supply planning initiatives and regional inventory management in ensuring timely order execution, supply availability, visibility, inventory management and ensuring issues are timely resolved. He/ She will work cross-functionally with Regional Demand Planning, Regional Finance, Regional Controlling and Entities’ SCM to enable achievement of business targets.
Key Functions / ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibility of the Regional Supply Planner is to plan, control and optimize the supply of inventory and shipments required for the operational business.
Organization Development strategy Effective and efficient management and execution on regional inventory shipmentsCollect suppliers’ supply & regional inventory information, making it available to support the S&OP processPrepare and support Regional S&OP process.Analyze supply trends, key behaviors and insights, identifying opportunities for improvementsEnsure timeliness and accuracy of supply and order information Lead the maintenance of documentation / SOP for Regional Inventory management
People and Culture Building Establish strong relationship with Key Suppliers & Entities SCMSupport change management Support projects and/or participate in department projects and initiatives as deemed necessary.Being able to adjust communication respectfully with local practices
Business Partner for Organisation Development ProgramsClose collaboration with Regional and Entities’ planners.Focus on timely PO & Order creation & Inventory movementsStrong focus to strengthen short term supply information completeness and mid to longer term supply visibility/ assumptions Facilitate team and groups sessions as needed. Assist with team effectiveness initiatives.
Order managementResponsible for the Supply plan (PO placement and Order fulfilment) of TAP regional inventory to Suppliers & Entities Collaborate with Entities’ SCM on supply and delivery requirementsEnsure all shipments adherence to import & export shelf-life requirements, including temperature controlEnsure correct pick & pack execution by warehouse Documentation preparation for importation and exportationEnsure timely shipment booking, pick up and delivery to Entities Monitor, maintain and update both incoming and outgoing shipment schedules in SAPImprove coordination with Supplier and service providers Ensure correct lead time are maintain in SAP and reviewed periodicallyDrive & align delivery expectations with service providers
Inventory management Responsible for inventory accuracy and all movement transactionsEnsure that appropriate supplies and stock levels are maintained to meet customer service levels within cost restraints and consistent with suppliers’ lead time.Monitor and review inventory level, considering shelf life and inventory turnover performance Balance inventory within target levels and optimize shipments for cost / time efficiencyContinuously review the sales forecast and actual performance, analyze inventory reports, availability / requirements to provide supply proposals to Regional BU for stockingHighlight slow moving inventory and develop mitigation proposalsMake recommendations to improve supplier relationships and look for optimised stock levels & cost savings
Financial Management & ReportingPrepare and process journal entries, intercompany recharges, debit notes, reconciliations and statement of accounts Prepare intercompany recharges, debit notes, reconciliations Perform monthly review, validate and analysis of inventory balances, including slow moving, obsolete and inventory aging including adjustments for freight, and GR/IR reconciliationIdentify inventory items requiring provision for impairment based on company policy or accounting standard.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, month-end financial & expense reports associated with inventories and associated freight chargesProviding support in generating, monitoring and analysis of key performance & inventory reportsDevelop SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
Support in projectsProvide the necessary support in the preparation and testing of projects related to continuous improvement.Support system implementations or process improvement initiatives to increase planning capability and efficiency for supply planning

Education & ExperienceA diploma or degree in Business, logistic management, or equivalent Working experience within supply chain planning/ order management (min. 2-3 years)Experience in working and handling 3PLs & LSPs (Start-up experience desirable)Prior experience in supporting accounting / balance sheet reconciliation (desirable)Familiar with Microsoft Office and other software (SAP, IBP, Power BI and other tools)High computer literacy (Ability to create visualization dashboards desirable)Team player, Ability to create and maintain relationships, both externally and internally. Able to work independently and apply calculated risk in decision makingUnderstanding of the financial impact of Supply delays and related decisionsAbility to be flexible and drive for results, even when all the requirements have not been definedCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent working knowledge of English (written and spoken) Ability to create and maintain relationships, both externally and internally.
