Job Summary
Department of Health, Hospitals & Primary Care – Hospitals Nth, Primary Health North, located in Campbell Town, Tasmania.

Award / Classification
Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 3‑4.
Salary: $80,524 to $109,175 per annum (pro‑rata).

Role Overview
The Registered Nurse will strengthen health outcomes through provision of safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, families and other health professionals.
Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team in the emergency department, sub‑acute inpatient ward and aged care to provide high quality patient care in line with NSQHS and AGED CARE standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care.
- Work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Perform emergency duties including triage and cannulation.
- Learn new skills, take on challenges and help foster a positive work culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Ability to work independently and in multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Previous emergency experience, including triage and cannulation competency.
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a positive work culture.
Essential Criteria
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

Salary and Working Hours
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
- Access to Grade 4 salary range of $102,439–$109,175 subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
- May work up to 76 hours per fortnight, fully rotational shift.
- Base salary is pro‑rata for part‑time roles.
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
