Newcastle & Hunter Community Health is seeking a Full time Community Registered Nurse

About the role/Job Description
As a Community Registered Nurse you will;
- Work with our team in a hands‑on client facing role
- Medication assistance, assessment and monitoring
- Wound care and Wound Reports
- Intake Assessments
- Continence assessments
- PEG changing and care
- SPC/IDC changing and care
- Care planning and report writing
- Workplace support of client care team and new team members appropriate to role.
- Working within a team of Community RNs & Support Workers supporting our clients receive high quality clinical nursing care within their homes.
Essential & Desirable Criteria
The ideal applicant will have;
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 year’s experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to maintain high standards of safe clinical care.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Australian unrestricted Driver's Licence.
- Criminal record check (or willingness to obtain same)
- Working with children check (or willingness to obtain same)
- Current first aid certificate.
- NDIS worker screen (or willingness to obtain same)
- Smart phone and internet access.
- 2 Contactable Manager referees
- Excellent communication skills
