How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures, primarily performing circulating duties and scrubbing as required for specific surgical cases.




• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and specialized equipment, while managing overall patient care, safety, and monitoring before, during, and after procedures.




• Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including patient positioning, instrument selection, fluid/hemostasis management, and wound exposure.




• Participate in the unit’s rotational call schedule.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.




• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we’re seeking

• Must have 3 years RN operating room experience
