The facility features three active operating rooms specializing in Orthopedic Hand, General Surgery, and Neuro-Spine procedures.In partnership with Compass Surgical Partners, we bring together the expertise of a local clinical team and the strength of national operational support. This collaboration fosters a culture where both patients and staff can thrive.This position is open due to continued growth.Role Summary:
The Operating Room RN provides direct patient care and serves as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process. This role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity before, during, and after surgery.The Charge Nurse provides clinical leadership on the unit, coordinating patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring efficient operations. This role serves as a resource for the team, promotes patient safety, and supports quality care delivery.Hours:
• Monday –Friday schedule; PRN as needed
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or callWhat You’ll Do:Oversee daily unit operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and optimal staffing coverageAssign patient care responsibilities to nursing staff and monitor workload distributionProvide direct patient care as needed, including assessment, interventions, and documentationServe as a resource and mentor for staff, supporting professional development and educationCollaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and other departments to coordinate patient careMonitor adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standardsSupport patient safety, risk-management, and quality-improvement initiativesCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of careParticipate in staff meetings, committees, and performance improvement activitiesWhat You’ll Bring:Associate’s degree or bachelors of science in nursingCurrent RN license BLS and ACLS certifications requiredLeadership or prior charge nurse experience preferredStrong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilitiesAbility to lead a team, mentor staff, and manage conflict effectivelyStrong teamwork, organization, and communication skillsAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionallyBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows environment)What We Offer:No nights, weekends, holidays, or callCompetitive hourly rateSupportive, collaborative, and growing environmentCompensation:
