Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis – Full Time, Days

Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with other departments.
- Assist the physician.
- Oversee treatment of medical and surgical patients needing dialysis procedures.
- Deliver dialysis care, including assessment, problem identification, interventions and treatments, and evaluation of physical or psychological problems.
- Perform dialysis procedures such as admission assessment, medication, IV therapy, administration of blood and blood products, pain control, O₂ therapy, assisting physician with Quintons, dressing application and changes, Quinton catheter management, de‑clotting Quinton catheters, accessing AV shunt for diagnostic tests (e.g., venograms), and monitoring patients during hemo‑replacement treatment.
- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions: medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
- Plan and document patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Evaluate the assessment, planning, and intervention process.
- Demonstrate professional and personal development.
- Deliver direct patient care appropriate to adult and geriatric patients.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitative or acute care setting.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (TX).
- CPR/BCLS and ACLS certification required.
