Expected Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Job Type: Onsite

Pay Range: $30/hr.- $35/hr.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Work Schedule:Monday to Friday from 7:30am or 8:00am to 3:30pm or 4:00pm

Job Description:Responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Performs duties within the Nurses scope of practice, the facility's policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols. Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.

Completes admission process as directed by Center Director. Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis. Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.

Documents all pertinent data in the patients medical record. Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and is responsible for the follow up on any problem which is identified. Evaluates the patients response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record.

Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan. Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan. Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment.

Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.

Nursing Role Responsibilities:Perform patient triage to prioritize care based on clinical urgencyObtain and record vital signs and initial patient assessmentsAssist physicians during consultations and proceduresSupport efficient patient flow and reduce wait timesEnsure quality and safety standards in patient careProvide basic patient education and guidance

Nursing Role Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience preferred.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Puerto Rico.Active professional membership (Colegiación vigente).Valid Health Certificate.Law 300 Certificate Required.Criminal Background Check Certificate
