It establishes a 12‑month eligibility list to fill anticipatory permanent, term, AOC and casual vacancies. The position is based in Whitehorse, YT.

Important Application and Job Requirements Essential Qualifications Current registration with YRNA or a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority. Recent and relevant clinical nursing experience within the Registered Nurse scope. Recent experience in a leadership or team coordination capacity (e.g., charge nurse, preceptor).
Recent experience as a supervisor with performance‑management participation (asset). Experience providing care to seniors or adults in a long‑term care setting (asset). Experience in post‑acute care environments (asset).
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability Dedicated to the highest standard of resident care with excellent clinical and assessment skills. Strong leadership skills to work with a variety of disciplines in a team atmosphere. Excellent interpersonal and conflict‑management skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Conditions of Employment TB screening.
RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check. CRP Level C with AED (completed within the last 30 months). Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate (completed within the last 30 months).
WHMIS 2015. A valid Class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions. Current registration with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association.
