One of the largest California-based accounting firms, BPM is looking to expand its Colleague Center in Sioux Falls and we are hiring!
This is an opportunity for inquisitive people who love to solve problems and have an eye for detail to build a career in accounting. As a member of this inaugural team, you will receive in-depth training on a variety of topics, including an introduction to accounting and auditing theory. Upon completion of training, you will work with leaders of the audit team to perform work on key financial statement line items, such as Cash, Accounts Payable and Inventory.

WHAT YOU GET: · 3-4 weeks of formal training that will include an introduction to accounting concepts and specific, experiential learning on anticipated projects · Flexible PTO for all full-time, exempt colleagues as well as excellent health and retirement benefits (less than full-time colleagues have access to benefits depending on the work arrangement) · A long-term flexible position, meaning that as skills develop there is an opportunity to work from home with the expectation of maintaining a hybrid schedule, including; visiting the office for meetings, trainings, and collaborative gatherings with colleagues · Full time, part-time, and all flexible schedules will be considered WHAT YOU’LL DO: · Participate in targeted training that will provide the knowledge and skills needed to develop understanding of basic accounting and auditing concepts. · Utilize foundational accounting knowledge to perform entry-level tasks in client audit engagements and provide support to audit teams. · Work directly with leaders on the client service team to deliver accurate and timely outcomes on projects assigned.
