Remote Dental RCM Billing Specialist – U.S. Dental Experience

Location: Remote – Brazil or Colombia

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time (U.S.)

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Language: Fluent professional English required

We are seeking an experienced Dental RCM Billing Specialist located in Brazil or Colombia to join our growing remote team. This position supports dental practices in the United States and requires prior experience with U.S. dental insurance, billing, claims, or accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims

• Work insurance aging reports and follow up on unpaid or denied claims

• Correct claim rejections and submit appeals

• Review EOBs and insurance payment information

• Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately

• Verify patient eligibility and dental benefits when needed

• Contact U.S. insurance companies by telephone and through payer portals

• Maintain detailed account notes and follow-up dates

• Communicate professionally with management and dental office team members

• Protect patient information and follow HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications:

• At least one year of U.S. dental billing, insurance, collections, or verification experience

• Strong spoken and written English

• Knowledge of dental terminology, CDT codes, EOBs, deductibles, maximums, downgrades, frequencies, and PPO insurance

• Experience with dental practice-management software

• Experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Curve, CareStack, Denticon, Eaglesoft, or WinOMS is a plus

• Oral surgery or medical billing experience is a plus

• Reliable computer, high-speed internet, backup internet, and a quiet private workspace

• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation

• Availability during U.S. Central Time business hours
