What You'll Do: Expand Referral Networks: Proactively identify and initiate contact with local and regional referral sources (e.g., physicians, clinics, other DME providers) to generate new orders for home-based medical equipment. Facilitate Patient Onboarding: Efficiently respond to and manage incoming patient referrals. This includes meticulously collecting and processing all necessary documentation, such as prescriptions, insurance information, and demographic data, to ensure a smooth and complete patient file for seamless servicing and billing.
You will be responsible for reviewing all acquired documentation for accuracy and completeness. Cultivate Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with physicians, clinic staff (including medical assistants and referral coordinators), and other key referral partners. Ensure all interactions and documentation adhere strictly to company compliance standards and relevant privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed individual and departmental sales goals. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our aggressive growth initiatives. Champion Patient Success: Act as a dedicated patient advocate, guiding individuals through the process of initiating and maintaining long-term therapy by ensuring they receive the appropriate equipment and ongoing support.
