This role is ideal for an engineer who understands the Rails ecosystem deeply and enjoys building clean, reliable, and high-performing applications from end to end.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and design teams to develop new features, improve application performance, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in fast-paced remote environments where ownership, speed, and code quality matter. What You’ll Own Rails Application Development • Build and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, APIs, and backend services • Develop scalable business logic using Rails conventions, ActiveRecord, controllers, and service objects • Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and external APIs • Collaborate with frontend developers using React, Vue, or Stimulus when required • Contribute to feature development from architecture through deployment Database Design
