Remote Software Engineer, Infrastructure
Acuitymd
Job Description
Software Engineer, Infrastructure AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices.
Our solution helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. We're backed by Benchmark, Redpoint, ICONIQ Growth, and Ajax Health. We’re a high-growth SaaS company scaling rapidly.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be directly interacting with other teams across Engineering and production. Through collaboration, you’ll help design, build, and operate the platform primitives—compute, networking, storage, CI/CD, and developer tooling—that power our applications end-to-end. You’ll drive reliability, security, and efficiency while enabling a great developer experience.
You’ll also contribute to our strategic goals as we evolve our infrastructure and our practices to maximize our internal and customer impact. Team Mission Our Platform Team is the backbone that keeps product teams shipping quickly and safely. We deliver direct customer value through our cloud capabilities and security.
We impact internal success through partnerships with application teams and enabling a great development experience. Responsibilities Steward core platform services: Implement container orchestration, service mesh, ingress, and secrets management at scale. Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Security to deliver external and internal value.
Harden reliability: Improve observability (logging, metrics, tracing), and automated remediation to increase availability and latency. Automate everything: Use infrastructure-as-code and configuration management to make systems and processes repeatable, auditable, and secure. Scale cost-effectively: Optimize cluster utilization, autoscaling, and storage/networking to balance performance, reliability, and spend.
Level-up developer experience: Build internal tooling, templates, and golden paths that reduce cognitive load and time-to-first-deploy for product teams. On-call
