Where You’ll Come In: In our mission-driven growth journey to Do Some Good for Animals and the Planet, we're seeking an exceptional Territory Sales Manager to help expand our brand across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. Reporting to the Director of Sales – Central Region, you'll play a crucial role in driving growth, building relationships, and advocating for Open Farm. Past experience in the pet industry and/or as a Territory Sales Manager is a plus!
Note: This role will require flexible work arrangements such as occasional evening and weekend work, with overnight travel as much as 50% - 75% of the time. You must have a valid driver’s license to be considered. This position will cover the following states: Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas . \n How you’ll Make An Impact: (If this looks enticing, click “Apply”!) Sales Optimization: Sales Target Achievement - Meeting or exceeding sales targets for your assigned territory.
This involves developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Forecasting and Planning - Developing sales forecasts and strategies for the territory based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights. This helps in aligning sales activities with overall company goals Budget Management - Responsible for managing budgets related to sales activities, including expenses for travel, sales promotions, and customer engagements.
Customer Focus: Develop existing and new client relationships within the territory, to serve as a strategic partner Customer Relationship Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the pet food supply chain. This includes regular store visits and frequent communication to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
