Position Description:
BCP Securities is looking for a curious, analytical, and motivated Research Intern to join its Latin America Research team, supporting coverage of sovereign debt market.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in macroeconomic analysis, sovereign credit research, and emerging markets while working alongside experienced analysts in an international environment.
Main Responsibilities:
· Support the analysis of Latin American macroeconomic and political developments.
· Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and market updates.
· Monitor economic indicators, fiscal and monetary policy announcements, and sovereign bond markets.
· Collect, organize, and analyze economic and financial data.
· Maintain research databases, spreadsheets, and market trackers.
· Assist the Global Research team with ad hoc projects and market intelligence.
· Stay informed about key developments affecting the region.
Requirements:
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business.
· Strong interest in capital markets, macroeconomics, and emerging markets.
· Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
· Knowledge of Latin America’s economy and financial markets is highly desirable.
· Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with PowerPoint is preferred.
· Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
