Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:Associate Degree in NursingNursing DiplomaBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.Certifications:Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.Preferred QualificationsEducation: BSN preferredLicensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferredExperience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical settingPhysical RequirementsAbility to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyProlonged standing and walking throughout the shiftAbility to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties Why Mercy?
