Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.

QualificationsEducation & Licensure:Graduate of an accredited RN programActive RN license (state-specific or compact)Must meet all state board of nursing requirementsCertifications Required:ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life SupportBLS - Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)Physical Requirements:Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbsProlonged standing/walking throughout shiftAbility to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed Why Mercy?
