Job Description
Overview
This Sales Account Executive position is a challenging office-based role with regular contact with customers and internal teams to ensure a high level of service. The successful applicant will be highly motivated with strong administration skills and experience in a sales administration environment, capable of handling customer enquiries and carrying out sales administration procedures with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Input of customer orders, contracts, forecasts and price files into the SAP system to maintain an accurate reference point.
- Process invoices and credit requests in accordance with the Ardagh Standard Process and Procedures.
- Monitor and support new product development by liaising with National Account Managers, customers (including site visits), product design and manufacturing.
- Respond to customer enquiries, liaise with other departments or plants to resolve queries and maintain high-quality service.
- Monitor sales information on customer performance, stock levels, stock invoicing, slow-moving stock and mould equipment to identify and address issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Customer-focused with strong administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- High level of Excel proficiency (including pivot tables)
- SAP experience preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of glass containers and the manufacturing process is advantageous
