Details
We are looking for a bi‑lingual Sales Executive – Commercial Auto to drive profitable growth within the Florida territory. The role involves influencing agents to sell Kemper Commercial Auto and executing the company’s sales strategy while supporting long‑term profitable growth initiatives.
This position is remote, but due to frequent local travel requirements, applicants must reside in the Central Florida area and be willing to visit Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville regularly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Influencing Agent Behavior:
- Implements and executes sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.
- Collaborates with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.
- Utilizes sales tools to influence behavior and drive results.
- Agency Diagnostics and Cross Selling:
- Identifies opportunities to cross‑sell Kemper Auto products aligned with agencies' needs.
- Agency Management and Support:
- Manages and develops a territory of independent agents.
- Provides outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling.
- Builds strong relationships with agents at all levels.
- Drives new business growth, mix of business, retention, and profitability within assigned territory.
- Stays current on product and pricing trends.
- Collaboration and Mentoring:
- Participates in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.
- Assists in the implementation of new production launches.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience required, with 1+ years of Commercial insurance experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or Marketing preferred).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a must.
- Working knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.
- Effective communication skills and ability to public speak.
- Flexible, highly motivated self‑starter.
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet data manipulation skills.
- Highly skilled at time management.
- Critical thinking and logical problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret statistical data and build action plans.
- Maintain acceptable driving record.
The range for this position is $79,500 to $132,900. Compensation considers experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.).
