Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangalore, India. The Sales Manager will oversee daily sales activities, including managing client inquiries, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, and closing sales for Visa services. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, tracking targets, and analyzing sales performance to drive revenue growth.
The Sales Manager will collaborate with operations and marketing teams to create attractive travel offers, ensure timely follow-up, and deliver an excellent customer experience. The position also includes mentoring and guiding sales executives, preparing reports for leadership, and staying informed about market trends and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Customer relationship management abilities, with a focus on consultative selling and long-term client engagement.
- Knowledge of travel and tourism industry practices, especially luxury and international travel, is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Experience in team leadership or supervising sales staff, with the ability to coach and motivate team members.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms to manage sales pipelines and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in travel, hospitality, or a related service sector.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client requirements simultaneously.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed, and occasionally travel for client meetings or industry events.
