Sales Representative VEG
Task and Responsibilities
- Own the business performance in the assigned geography, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term market development.
- Act as the country business leader for the vegetable seeds portfolio, defining and executing strategic plans aligned with regional priorities.
- Lead specific strategic segments as a segment champion, bringing deep expertise to accelerate growth and strengthen Bayer’s market position.
- Define and execute segment-specific strategies, particularly through indirect channels such as plant raisers, to increase penetration and adoption.
- Develop and drive go-to-market strategies for new product introductions, ensuring successful positioning and commercialization of new materials.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with plant raisers, driving engagement, loyalty, and long-term collaboration as key enablers of market access.
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities, including new segments, portfolio expansion, and customer development strategies.
- Build and manage a robust portfolio pipeline, aligned with market needs, customer demand, and innovation priorities.
- Drive commercial excellence through high-impact account planning and execution.
- Leverage data and market insights to guide decisions, anticipate trends, and improve business outcomes.
- Manage business complexity effectively, balancing financial performance, territory priorities, and resource allocation.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams (marketing, supply, finance, etc.) to ensure successful execution of business strategies.
- Operate with a strong ownership mindset, ensuring accountability and sound decision-making within the geography.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in commercial, marketing, or business management roles within agriculture or related industries.
- Proven experience in specific vegetable segments tomato and pepper, including knowledge of plant raisers operation.
- Demonstrated experience leading product introduction strategies and market development initiatives.
- Advanced leadership capabilities, including ownership, decision-making, and accountability.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex customer ecosystems.
- Strong business acumen with understanding of market dynamics, financial drivers, and strategic planning.
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic actions.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- High adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Availability to travel and work in rural environments.
- Advanced English (desirable).
