Job Description
Job Summary: A minimum experience of 6-8 years as an application developer in SAP BTP IS CPI, APIM based Integration technologies with good working experience in SAP S4 HANA centric projects. Must have hands on exposure in BTP IS - Cloud Platform Integration (CPI/CI), API Management, API Portal, and SAP Business Accelerator Hub.
Considering SAP best practices, responsible for developing SAP BTP Integration suite related CPI iFlows and managing APIs. Experience in optimizing and fine-tuning integrations between on-premise SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP Integration Suite, non-SAP applications, and other middleware platforms such as (like: Informatica, MuleSoft, etc.) General business process knowledge in SAP SD, MM Modules.
Assisting functional teams when necessary in the testing phase. Should have experience in SAP integration technologies EDI, ALE/ IDOC, RFC/BAPI and API based integrations. Hands-on expertise in developing, modernizing, and optimizing SAP BTP Integration Suite interfaces, including enhancement of mapping transformations, particularly B2B EDIFACT mappings in CPI.
Should be familiar with SAP Cloud Connector (SCC) setup and configuration for enabling secure connectivity between SAP CPI and on-premise systems (like: S4 HANA, Mail server, DB, SFTP server etc.) Expertise in handling various CPI technical adapters: ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, XI Proxy Adapters, JMS adapter. Should have experience in handling different data conversion techniques (including JSON-to-XML, CSV-to-XML, fixed-length flat file-to-XML/JSON)
Should have experience in using various CPI pallet options (Integration patterns Content Modifier, Message transformations, Aggregator, Enricher, Splitter, Router, Multicasting, Exception Subprocess, and Process Call etc.) Must have expertise in developing custom Groovy and Java scripts for complex transformation logic, dynamic routing, exception handling, and reusable integration utilities within SAP CPI. Well experienced in WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD and XSLT technologies.
Must have expertise in Message Mapping techniques (including defining UDF's) and XSLT mappings. Must have knowledge in CPI monitoring and exception handling frameworks, including implementation of error-handling mechanisms, alert/notification configurations, data persistence, dead-letter queue concepts, and asynchronous retry/reprocessing strategies. Should have expertise in handling security related artifacts, key store, encryption, and decryption mechanisms, certificate handling, OAuth2, secure communication protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, TLS/SSL)
Able to transport BTP IS related Design Objects from non-production tenants to production tenants. (Using : CTS+, TMS) Hands-on experience in using SAP API Management (APIM/API Portal) to securely consume and expose SAP S/4HANA standard and custom APIs, with required configuration setup for REST, SOAP, and OData services. Well versed in creation of API products, application keys, client credentials, rate limiting, throttling, Oauth/security policies, and governance standards aligned with SAP API Management best practices.
Create Technical/Interface specifications & API documentation based on the functional inputs and Integration requirements. Must have knowledge in data migration (especially for master data IFs), CPI/APIM cut over activities for go-live. Reviewing and understand the technical design document to ensure the development work is in compliance with the specifications.
Plan and execute migration of integration artifacts from source BTP subaccount to target BTP subaccount.
