About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise across both Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) to join our growing SAP practice. This is a consulting-focused role that requires a combination of deep functional knowledge, client advisory capabilities, and pre-sales support.

The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered multiple end-to-end SAP implementations and transformation programs, while partnering with business stakeholders to design scalable finance solutions. Experience with India GST and statutory compliance is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation of SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Configure and support core FI & CO modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Deliver end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
• Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
• Support functional design, testing, data migration, user training, and post-go-live activities.
• Participate in client workshops, solution presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and pre-sales engagements.
• Provide finance transformation expertise, mentor junior consultants, and drive SAP best practices.

Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience with strong expertise across both FI and CO.
• Proven track record delivering multiple end-to-end SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of finance, controlling, and business accounting processes.
• Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders and finance leadership.
• Excellent consulting, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA) preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
• Strong knowledge of India GST, statutory taxation, e-Invoicing, and regulatory compliance.
• Previous consulting or pre-sales experience within an SAP consulting or system integration environment.
• SAP FICO/SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is an added advantage.
