Job Location: Mumbai - Andheri East Reporting to: Head of IT / CIO Reported by : SAP support team Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field . Experience: 8–12 years in SAP management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is required.
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP Lead to head our SAP function, strengthen business processes, and lead our migration to SAP S/4HANA / cloud platform. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP operations and ensure smooth functioning across modules (FI/CO/MM/SD/PP etc.) Drive and manage SAP S/4HANA or cloud migration initiatives aligned with business goals Collaborate with business and plant teams to optimize manufacturing, supply chain, and finance processes Ensure governance, system integrity, and performance improvement Manage authorizations, integrations, and vendor coordination Lead and mentor the SAP support team to deliver efficient, scalable solutions Job Description: Manage and Maintain SAP Configuration Ensure optimal system performance, configuration consistency, and environment stability across SAP landscapes.
Monitor system health, background jobs, and database performance for optimal uptime. Manage SAP Access Control and User Provisioning Oversee user access, roles, and segregation-of-duties compliance. Oversee user creation, modification, and deactivation in line with the organization’s access policies.
Maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) ensuring segregation of duties (SoD) compliance. Facilitate Customization for SAP Controls Work with business process/functional owners and AMS teams to configure or customize SAP controls as required. Ensure changes are aligned with SAP best practices and do not impact core system integrity.
Manage documentation and testing for all control-related enhancements. Coordinate with internal audit or compliance teams to validate effectiveness of configured controls. Facilitate ITGC / External Audit for SAP Compliance Provide system evidence, logs, and configuration reports to auditors as required.
Address audit observations and implement remediation measures promptly. Manage SAP AMS Vendor for Ticketing and Operations Coordinate with the AMS partner for incident resolution, change management, and day-to-day operational support. Track and manage ticket SLAs, ensuring timely resolution of basis and application issues.
Review AMS performance reports and escalate unresolved or recurring issues. Coordinate planned downtime, maintenance windows, and system refresh activities. Critical Skills: SAP Basis, SAP functional basics around modules like FI/CO, MM, SD, PP etc.
Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
