Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This onsite, contract-based position offers the flexibility of part or full-time scheduling—designed for professionals who are passionate about fostering student well-being and academic growth within a supportive educational setting.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist in South CarolinaPrevious experience in a K-12 school environment is preferredStrong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultationExcellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and educational staffFamiliarity with special education processes and IEP developmentAbility to adapt to diverse student needs and support inclusive educational practicesKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for studentsDevelop strategies and interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challengesCollaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student successSupport the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plansProvide crisis intervention and participate in preventative mental health initiativesServe as a resource for faculty and families on student mental health and learning differencesMaintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal standards in school psychologyThis role promises a rewarding experience as you help shape a school community focused on growth, inclusion, and well-being.
