ON CAMPUS IN ATHERTON QLD
We are looking for a passionate Primary teacher to join our dedicated and supportive teaching team. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an inspiring, well organised and stimulating learning environment.

- Demonstrate familiarity and experience with the Australian Curriculum and be able to teach from a Biblical Worldview perspective, supporting the College ethos.
- Possess a strong understanding of pedagogy – Years P-6.

- Integrate ICT within teaching and learning.
- Be able to implement and develop innovative and relevant learning and assessment experiences.
- Monitor student progress and provide relevant feedback as required.
- Provide formal reports to parents and actively participate in parent/teacher/student conferences.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
- Communicate with skill and warmth with students, parents, and staff.
- Participate and contribute to school camps and activities.
- Attend and contribute to School functions and events when required.
Candidates will
- Have current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or have the ability to acquire registration before commencement).
- Be able to affirm and agree with the College’s Statement of Doctrines and Beliefs and Staff Code of Conduct.

Secondary Maths Teacher
ON CAMPUS IN ATHERTON
We seek an educator who can create an engaging learning environment in which students feel safe to take intellectual risks, feel comfortable to seek assistance and will be encouraged to perform to the best of their ability whilst developing a love of Mathematics.
This position is based on-campus in Atherton, Far North Qld.
The successful applicant will have
- Qld College of Teachers registration (or permission to teach).
- Demonstrated competency teaching Mathematics in Secondary years.
- Ability to write unit plans, weekly work and assessments aligning with QCAA existing and emerging syllabuses.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills with colleagues, parents and students.
- Demonstrated high level competency in communication utilising online technologies and platforms.
- Demonstrated organisational, time-management and record-keeping skills utilising existing tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated experience working both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to identify with and support the Christian ethos of the College.
Selection Criteria
- Competency teaching Secondary Mathematics.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work with students, parents, teachers and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Skills and/or experience working with students who have additional needs and/or gifted and talented students.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
