Security Architect

Permanent - £110,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Hybrid working - x2 days per week in office (Central London)

Spencer rose are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the look out for a Cloud Security Architect on a permanent basis, based in Central London. Within this role, the Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for providing the High Level Designs and Documentation across their Azure Cloud infrastructure estate. .

The Cloud Security Architect will have the following responsibilities -

• Work with the Technology and Cloud Operations, and the Information and Cyber Security Teams to define and maintain the cloud security architecture.
• Partner with enterprise, solution, data and AI architects to create cohesive and secure end-to-end designs.
• Define and evolve cloud security architecture, including reference architectures, reusable patterns and security controls across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.
• Provide architectural assurance for cloud-based solutions, ensuring security, resilience and compliance are incorporated from the outset.
• Lead and contribute to security design reviews and governance activities through the Technology Design Authority.
• Promote secure-by-design principles across all technology initiatives.

The Cloud Security Architect will need to have the following skills/experience -

• Strong experience designing and assuring cloud security architectures (Ideally Azure) in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security tooling, posture management and threat detection approaches.
• Must have knowledge of Azure Cloud Architecture best practice.
• Previous experience within Security Assurance, conducting Risk Assessments and Threat Modelling
