Role
In this role you will work with a high standard of service in key financial accounting operational functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash/Expenses Management. You will be responsible for ensuring ongoing general financial administration services and cash management. You report directly to the Head of Accounting based in Luxembourg.
Location and Working Model
We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily controls of the accounting system
- Review, send for validation, and post invoices for multiple entities within the Group, ensuring adherence to approval process and documentation
- Control VAT/GST postings and compliance
- Manage intercompany re invoicing processes
- Review invoice payment runs and ensure accurate related accounting entries
- Execute or coordinate invoice payments in line with internal procedures
- Prepare and record accruals related to payables
- Maintain, record, and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances
Requirements / Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent with minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position within the banking/financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of VAT and best practices within the banking/financial industry
- Team-player, professional, analytical, solution-oriented, positive, and energetic
- Adaptive learner with good analytical skills; ability to work independently and in a team with constructive, solutions-oriented attitude
- High degree of organisation, initiative, and personal accountability
- Fluency in English (company language) and Polish (written and spoken) is mandatory for this role
Additional Information
Banking Circle is an international company. Our internal workforce consists of over 50 nationalities, and our clients and partners are located globally. For this role, fluency in both written and spoken Polish is mandatory.
