Role Description The Finance Officer will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. This full-time role is on-site in Bengaluru and involves managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring timely financial reporting to leadership. The Finance Officer will review financial data for accuracy, support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and assist in preparing reports for audits and management reviews.
The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to support decision-making, and recommending improvements to financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with practical experience in managing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decisions.
- Effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting or finance software, and strong Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ Zoho books.
* Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
* Prepare and file GST returns.
* Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
* Manage purchase & sales invoices.
* Assist in TDS calculations and statutory compliance.
* Prepare MIS reports and financial statements.
* Support internal and external audits.
