Responsibilities
- Corporate accounting
- Participate in GL account keeping
- Receive, record and pay supplier invoices, expense reports
- Prepare & monitor Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Perform monthly GL account keeping actions relating to all the Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss
- Handle the accounting treatment of payroll expenses
- Handle the accounting treatment and monitoring of fixed assets
- Produce monthly financial statements under local and IFRS standards: timeline, closing entries, analyses of financial statements, etc.
- Produce the annual financial statements and append them to the related accounts
- Contribute to the production of the management report
- Tax treatments
- Prepare annual tax returns
- Produce tax filings such as corporation tax, e‑invoicing, Stamp Duty and other tax related filings
- Ensure coherence between the various accounting and tax outputs
- Group
- Prepare and submit monthly inter‑group reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly reporting to Group Finance Consolidation
- Define user needs in the framework of "regulatory"
- Other responsibilities
- Participate in writing operational procedures and operating methods
- Ensure regulatory and accounting watch activities monitoring within scope of action
- Define user needs in the framework of "regulatory" IT or projects affecting finance accounting
- Respond to enquiries from other CACEIS business units that come under scope of activity
- Contribute to the optimisation of the regulatory report production process
- Regulatory treatment
- Prepare regulatory financial statements based on the share accounts of the entity affected
- Prepare and/or control statements to be filed with oversight bodies
- Track enquiries from oversight bodies
- Calculate and communicate the amount of the reserve requirement
- Ensure coherence between various outputs: regulatory, statutory, etc.
Qualifications
- Education – Bachelor Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, audit, management reporting or financial planning & analysis. Degree required and accounting designation strongly preferred.
- Experience – 6‑10 years of experience in accounting, audit, management reporting and financial planning & analysis, including working knowledge of accounting concepts within a financial institution. Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Skills – Strong written and verbal communication.
