To maintain our sustainable growth process, we are looking to fill a permanent position overseeing international projects at our Chile office as Senior Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Expert (all genders).
Your Tasks
- Working on implementation of utility-scale BESS projects, e.g. feasibility studies, technical due diligences, tendering
- Collaborating in various project phases, from concept to contract negotiation to construction and commissioning
- Further developing innovative techno-commercial BESS contracts
- Cooperate closely with internal and external and international stakeholders, e.g. project developers, suppliers, energy providers
- Actively supporting the development of the business segment to further expand Fichtner's BESS presence and offerings
- Visiting sites and going on business trips, as required, during various project stages
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering or related fields
- At least five (5) years of professional experience in the implementation of utility-scale BESS
- Expertise in preparing EPC and supplier tenders
- Knowledge of integrating BESS with other technologies would be a great advantage
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with MATLAB would be an advantage
- Experience in the field of renewable energies would also be an advantage
- Very good communication skills for interacting with international colleagues and external stakeholders
- Fluent in written, spoken, and comprehended English and Spanish is mandatory
- Valid work permit for Chile
