Senior Business Analyst - Web Portals (Contract To Hire) - Remote in Madison, Wisconsin.
Carex is partnering with a Healthcare Insurance industry partner to hire a Senior Business Analyst - Web Portals. This role will support complex web-based applications and enterprise platforms, helping improve system functionality, user experience, and business outcomes. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with business, technical, vendor, and architecture teams to define requirements, shape solutions, support production issues, and guide cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery.
What You'll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and document processes, system needs, and software requirements for technology initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison between business teams, development teams, vendors, and architects to ensure alignment throughout delivery.
- Lead requirements definition and solution design for complex, cross-functional initiatives with significant scope and impact.
- Support change management and compliance standards throughout project execution.
- Provide production support, including issue triage, root-cause analysis, impact assessment, and coordination with business and technical teams.
- Stay current with evolving business analysis, system analysis, automation, and AI-enabled tools and techniques.
- Mentor colleagues on assignments or projects and support departmental training efforts.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of advanced experience supporting web-based applications and enterprise platforms; associate degree with 7+ years of related experience; or high school equivalent with 10+ years of related experience.
- Experience with Epic software applications, including MyChart and TapestryLink.
- Experience with software configuration, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and the software development life cycle.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more business areas, including how systems and workflows integrate across teams.
- Healthcare industry knowledge and the ability to apply relevant business, technical, and operational concepts.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, SQL, ServiceNow, Visio, Jira, and Confluence.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate technical software issues across business and technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver timely, high-quality results.
- Willingness to learn new software, systems, and workflows and obtain certifications as requested.
