Senior Claims Field Adjuster, Commercial Property

What it’s like to be a Northbridge Field Claims Adjuster When our clients suffer a loss, our Senior Claims Field Representatives respond on the scene. They are responsible for providing efficient and prompt onsite or in the field investigation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement of moderate and complex commercial property claims. Our Field Claims Adjusters are open‑minded, understanding, and passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our clients and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities Completing on site and/or virtual inspections of commercial claims Capturing the scope of damages and writing repair estimates to settle claims Reconciling vendor estimates to ensure price and scope is appropriate Reviewing policies and technical reports Making decisions on coverage, and negotiating settlements of claims Effectively managing a busy day‑to‑day schedule Providing a great customer experience Qualifications Completed a post‑secondary program Minimum 3 years of commercial property adjusting experience, with some experience in the field A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record Experience with Xactimate and Encircle is an asset Ability to work after hours and weekends during the scheduled on‑call rotation Availability to travel as needed A team‑first mentality Benefits You will work from your home office, with the flexibility to create your own schedule We provide all the hardware you will need to set up your workspace We provide a company vehicle and cover all additional expenses while on the road Competitive salaries and support of your financial health through an employee share purchase plan, pension plans, RRSP, and discounts on staff insurance Well‑being support from day one through flexible health benefits, early leave days, wellness programs, rewards, and recognition programs Career growth opportunities through education assistance, internal mobility, and mentoring programs Donation matching and team volunteer days to support community causes you believe in Pay transparency and fairness; base salary range $75,000 – $113,000 (actual base salary may vary with experience, skills and alignment with the position) We’re open to candidates at different levels; if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, we’d still love to hear from you.
