We are looking for a Senior Data Tech Lead / Data Architect to join a flagship project in the insurance sector.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with strong knowledge and relevant experience in designing cloud data architectures (Lakehouse) and Microsoft technologies, namely Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Azure DevOps, and Purview.
Main Responsibilities:
- Technically lead the project, ensuring the implementation of the new cloud data architecture (Lakehouse) and the migration of the legacy Data Warehouse to the new architecture.
- Manage and allocate work across the Link team (comprising the Tech Lead and 3 Data Engineers) and the client team.
- Recommend data and analytics best practices based on consulting experience.
- Interact regularly with Directors from different areas of the client organization and, occasionally, with senior management.
- Present high-level project progress updates to different stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Data Architect.
- Strong knowledge and relevant experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Azure DevOps, and Purview.
- Experience designing cloud data architectures (Lakehouse).
- Team leadership skills and consulting experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly when engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
- Microsoft technology certifications are desirable.
