Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, a master’s degree or higher is preferred
• 10 years of relevant industry or academic experience after earning a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of industry experience planning distribution system protection
• Programming experience (any language)
• Well versed in concepts such as time-current coordination, ground and negative sequence protection, fuse saving and sequence coordination, fuse-recloser coordination
• Proficient in distribution protection software tools such as CYMDIST, CYMTCC, and Synergi Electric
• Experienced in configuring protection relays using the relay’s setup software such as acSELerator QuickSet, IntelliLink Setup Software, DIGSI, or EnerVista
• Familiar with protection relay testing and event analysis
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with colleagues
