Senior Electronic Design Engineer

IT Search has partnered with a global engineering technology company with an established R&D operation in the west of Ireland. They are currently seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary product development team working on advanced industrial and sensing technologies.

In this role, you will lead electronics design activities across the full product lifecycle, working closely with embedded software, systems and manufacturing teams from concept through to validation and production.

What you need:

• 5+ years’ experience in electronic hardware design and verification
• Experience developing industrial or embedded electronic systems
• Strong schematic capture and PCB design experience using tools such as Altium or PADS
• Experience with board-level debugging using oscilloscopes, analyzers and lab equipment
• Experience working with embedded systems and peripheral interfaces
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills
• Experience with analog, power supply or signal processing design
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols
• Exposure to EMC, CE or safety compliance testing
• Experience within industrial, instrumentation or sensing environments

The salary for this role is expected to be around the €80K mark with a strong wider package including healthcare, pension and additional leave benefits.
