Job Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst in the J&J Medtech Principal Operations (MTPO) organization supports and optimizes global intercompany pricing processes across complex supply chain structures while ensuring compliance with Tax and SOX requirements. The role involves finance, data analytics, and project support, including ICP calculations, standard cost and data loads, subsidy reporting, year‑end close activities, and ERP system coordination. Working closely with cross‑functional teams and strategic initiatives, the analyst develops data workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions to provide business insights and support decision‑making.
The position partners with Tax, Planning, Supply Chain, and IT teams to document processes, maintain master data integrity, support audits, and ensure accurate implementation of pricing models across multiple systems.
This role will be available in Ireland (Cork), Belgium (Diegem), Switzerland (Zuchwil/Zug), Czech (Prague).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Closely partnering with project members from areas such as inventory, AGP, currency and hedging, tax, planning, master data, and more.
- Collaborating with teams supporting related strategic initiatives such as LEGO, GET, Magellan and TranSCend on demand.
- Working together with the team lead to analyze data, detect patterns, assess logic, and develop data workflows to process large amounts of data for testing and production environments.
- Supporting the team with the ICP year‑end close activities.
- Executing and reporting subsidy requests provided by Tax on Subsidy Control Unit (SCU) and Blackline, and supporting this process during quarter closes, year‑end, JU/NU/BP submissions, and on an ad‑hoc basis.
- Owning dashboards that utilize data from various ICP tools, providing valuable insights to management for regular decision‑making.
- Mapping out and documenting impacted supply‑chain flows to ensure adherence to the tax model in collaboration with the tax planning group.
- Ensuring accurate calculation of intercompany prices for intermediary steps in different supply‑chain flows.
- Assuming the role of Strive Center of Excellence, supporting the team with ICP‑related activities on SAP Lynx and audits.
- Coordinating timely loading of calculated data, including ICP and Std Cost, in various ERP systems (JDE 8.12, S/4Hana) and building necessary checks to ensure flawless data set‑up and go‑live without delays in servicing customer orders.
- Ensuring required approvals are available for standard cost loads and changes, and supporting SOX audits & controls related to ICP setups of the project.
- Following all company guidelines related to health, safety, and environmental practices as applicable.
Experience And Education
- Minimum of a BA/BS degree or relevant qualification in business administration, finance, information systems, or IT.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional working experience in finance, projects, or data management.
- A Master’s/MBA degree or other financial certification is an asset.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Good understanding of the Tax and SOX compliance environments, and the broader impact of Intercompany Pricing activities on downstream finance activities.
- Profound financial acumen to understand the underlying Tax models behind the calculation of the ICPs at each step of the supply chain.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultural differences, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change while optimally supporting the team and customers.
- Advanced experience in data analytics, dashboarding, and reporting with Alteryx, Power BI. SQL is a must. Programming languages such as Python, R, C++ are a strong plus.
- Strong IT literacy with experience in SAP ERP systems, S/4Hana, JDE, and Microsoft 365.
- Project experience as either project lead, product owner, or core project team member.
- Consistent track record in cross‑cultural business partnering.
- Proficient in English.

Pay Ranges
- Ireland – Base pay range: 52,400 – 82,915 EUR per year.
- Czech Republic – Base pay range: 704,000 – 1,135,050 CZK per year.
