This role reports directly to the site management team and offers exposure to best practices within a top-tier international business. About you Proven experience in a HSE advisory or leadership role within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments Strong knowledge of UK and Northern Ireland health, safety, and environmental legislation Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification (desirable) Membership of IOSH or similar professional body (desirable) What you'll do Lead and continually improve the organisation's HSE management systems, ensuring compliance and best practice.
Act as a visible safety champion, promoting a positive safety culture through training, engagement, and behavioural safety initiatives. Support operational teams in embedding HSE requirements into daily processes and decision-making. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
Manage environmental compliance activities, including waste management and sustainability initiatives. Develop and deliver HSE training programmes to enhance employee awareness and competency. Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare reports to drive continuous improvement.
Support audits for ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certification and ensure documentation remains audit-ready.
