Job Description
Senior/Lead IT Vendor Management Analyst – Remote
25 Amica Way, Lincoln, RI 02865 – Full‑time remote or hybrid onsite (Lincoln office). 37.5‑hour week. Starting annual salary ranges from $94,748 to $145,985, plus an annual variable incentive based on company performance.
Responsibilities
- Support the contracts and procurement process for technology products, including reviewing and processing agreements and supporting negotiations.
- Review IT contracts, recommend on business risks to contract owners, coordinate additional reviews such as information security.
- Maintain deadlines and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders about contractual issues and matters.
- Ensure vendor agreements are current, compliant with laws and regulations, and manage software license compliance.
- Negotiate vendor service level agreements and track contractual obligations.
- Provide support to the procurement team and business units to optimize cost‑effectiveness of negotiations and ensure compliance with vendor management policies.
- Analyze IT vendor management processes, identify improvement opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams and departments to complete work timely.
- Seek learning opportunities and apply emerging trends, best practices and standards.
- Take on challenging assignments, apply learnings, and foster a culture of learning and creativity.
- Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to automate development, provisioning and release work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting vendor management, contracts and procurement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience negotiating and managing large‑scale IT‑related contracts and agreements.
- Familiarity with financial and accounting concerns of software/hardware, hosting, subscription, licensing and professional services agreements.
- Strong collaborative and advisory skills.
- Strong technical foundation with demonstrated business, data and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to translate and communicate complex concepts in accessible terms.
- Experience reviewing and managing complex, financially significant IT contracts and building and preserving relationships.
- Ability to resolve difficult situations involving IT, business units and external vendors.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management practices.
- Experience interfacing with diverse and senior‑level audiences.
